2010 Annual Education Series

Tami West, international speaker, author and keynote speaker of this year's Educational Conference. The title of the presentation was "Life Without The Monsters".  Tami reflected on her own life experiences and gave good advise that was well received by those attending.

Preston Nunnelly, MD from Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, spoke spcifically on KBML adverse actions but also gave good and informative information on CME, grievances and many other specific rules and regulations conserning a practicionors license in the state of Kentucky.  Dr. Nunnelly shared with the group the KBML's resoning for discontinueing the posting of adverse actions on the web but gave the procedures for obstaining that information.

International Speaker and Author   

Tami West began her career with a B.S. in biology and then spent the next ten years working in hospitals, physician’s offices, and    research labs. In 1999 Tami received her Master’s degree while working in the field of education for ten years. In 2005, she wrote her  first book, Life Without the Monsters, to help women overcome worry, stress, and anxiety. Her second book, Balancing Your Career and Your Life, was published in 2007, and her audio series, Discovering Happiness In a Stressful World, was released in March of 2009. Currently, Tami is pursuing a PhD in human development and in her spare time, enjoys traveling with her husband and children and playing with her two dogs, a golden retriever named Lily, and a Shi-Tzu named Roxanne.
