Spring Testing Period
Applications must be POSTMARKED by Friday, January 25, 2008
Testing Period – Saturday, March 29 through Saturday, April 19, 2008

Exam Results will be mailed six weeks after the completion of the testing window, April 19, 2008.

Summer Testing Period
Applications must be POSTMARKED by Friday, April 11, 2008
Testing Period – Saturday, June 14 through Thursday, July 3, 2008

NAMSS Annual Conference Milwaukee, WI
Applications must be POSTMARKED by – August 1, 2008
Test Date – Sunday, October 12, 2008
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(Paper-and-pencil exam only)
Exam Results will be mailed six weeks after the exam on October, 12, 2008.

Fall Testing Period
Applications must be POSTMARKED by – Friday, August 29, 2008
Testing Period –Saturday, November 1 through Saturday, November 22, 2008
(Computer-based administration)
Exam Results will be mailed six weeks after the completion of the testing window, November 22, 2008.

NAMSS members          $350.00

Non-members               $475.00

Recertification Fees

1. Single certification
a. NAMSS member - $60
b. Non-NAMSS member-$120

2. Dual certification
a. NAMSS member - $85
b. Non-NAMSS member - $170

Retired Status                                                                                                                        

Retired status can be requested for all currently certified individuals who have now retired from all employment related to the certification specialty.  Please submit the request along with your current recertification application, fees and list of continuing education credits.

Note:  There will be an additional administrative fee of $25 for returned checks.

Taking the Exam

DAY OF THE EXAM

It is strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the testing center location and parking facilities prior to the day of your exam so that you arrive at the testing center stress-free and on time.

On the day of the exam, report to the testing center 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. You should plan to be at the testing center for four and one-half hours. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
