Thank you for allowing me to serve

    Since its foundation in 1978, KAMSS has been blessed with great leaders who focused on advancing our profession, educating our members and strengthening our voice in the medical community. 
    I consider this opportunity to serve as your 2010 President an honor and privilege and realize I have very, very big shoes to fill!
As I begin my tenure my focus is on the future and the continued growth of our organization through a cooperative effort of all our members throughout the state. I’m excited about what lies ahead but realize that alone I can do very little but together we can accomplish great things for our profession. I promise to work diligently with you in continuing the forward motion of KAMSS while serving our members and advancing our mission in the healthcare community. I look forward to all the challenges and rewards this opportunity brings, but most of all, I look forward to working with all of you and forming relationships, both professionally and personally, with many of you across the state. 
    A recent major achievement is our newly-designed KAMSS website! This new site will certainly be a significant factor in our association’s advancement for the coming years. Not only does the site function as an improved method of communication for our members, but it also provides updated information about our association, a discussion forum, important announcements, and soon…..information about our Annual Educational Conference on May 7, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. Be sure to visit the site often and utilize this invaluable tool designed specifically for you!  Stay tuned as even more impressive improvements are made to the site!
